With the hectic pace of business, when an employee leaves there is often a mad rush to simply hire ‘a warm body’ to fill the slot. Sure, we look like we’re hiring intelligently, looking at resumes, interviewing based on experience and skill for the job, but in the end that routine practice isn’t reducing the often high turnover rates or getting someone who is actually a good employee and who enjoys their job.
