When the Opinions and Expectations of Others Hold You Back

When we are young, every one of us has a vision of our future life and whatever we defined as ‘success.’ Yours may have been a climb up the corporate ladder, owning your own business or a white picket fence and family. Whatever it was, it’s YOUR success and you should be focused on achieving it – no matter what others think or expect of you. It’s safe to say that most of us learn life’s lessons because of the setbacks we are dealt, and Jeff Davis was no different. He was having some of the greatest success of his career playing baseball, but when he was unexpectedly cut from the team his self-worth sank to dangerous levels. He made it through and today is thriving. His view of life is now quite different, and he devotes his time to sharing the lessons with others. Tune in to learn how to handle setbacks and to reach your mountaintop.
