Make the Boss Look Good – Be a Top Performer
It’s not uncommon to have a few individuals in an organization who will tell the boss things that aren’t sincere or truthful, just to get the boss’s allegiance. Luckily, with the successful manager and leader, that never works. However, there is a sincere and truthful way you can ‘suck up’ to the boss and make them look good, and that’s in your performance. When you are performing at the top of your game, you look good and so does the boss. Nothing wrong with that! When you are the boss, support your team in achieving their goals, and you will look good. And when you look good, so does your boss.
